What exactly is a lacquer compared to enamels or acrylics? Are they specifically for air brushes?

It’s a different type of paint, but it’s not as simple as “not enamel or acrylic” because lacquers can be acrylic-based as well as solvent-based. I don’t know the details and I’ve never used them, however — this is about as far as my knowledge of them stretches. As i am using lacquer paint need this stuff and very good it is

WELL Bob jen is ok this so what do you just spray it on the archylic paint an it cleans it off ? an more stug how many does that make now ?Hi Chris, hows Jen
Because its lacquer you cannot use stuff to clean archylic, the reamer just blasts the paint off, but it sure smells!
A good few pounda cheaper, and being a StuG i could not resist!!
