I'm with you on this Dave - potentially a great model but ..... I had the same experience and I have one more virgin model to try (Please Tamiya produce the ultimate Ontos!)Andy,
I had a go at this - I made the mistake of trying to replace the barrels with a Voyager detail set. I had to give up, 'cos I couldn't get all the barrels parallel & pointing in the right direction. Really frustrating!

I was lucky enough to get all three for a tenner. I've also got them as pdf's so these can stay in nice nick. I hope to be using them quite a lot tooUsed my Panzer Colors so much they fell apart, so now reside in a three ring binder.
Your right there is no hope :smiling3::smiling3::smiling3:I thought as much when you bought the new shelving something was afoot.:nerd: Pleased for you Dude 1.Hey Mark, I feel for you and I hope mine does too...
As you might know, I am almost retired and winter is coming soon. I am also a Friul junkie and as the Holland show has been cancelled in October, I needed a fix badly!!!......
Straight out of Hungary from the source. I mailed Giuseppe and asked him to "make me an offer I couldn't refuse"!!! He did!!!!........Evilbay has also snagged some of my cash and at good prices too,
€20 delivered and now I have all 5 of the supply wagons I need. Another evilbay deal was mostly a dumb bid on a kit because I liked the box art and really didn't think I would win it. Be damned, I did win it for €40 delivered to the door. I still can't believe it,
The box weighs about a kilo and stuffed to the brim with parts.........Now as I like to scratch stuff (not fleas), these were needed for various jobs coming up,
9 Packs of lead wire from 0.02mm up to 1.0mm. The fig w/dog was a freebie and is 3D printed. To get it and free postage, I added this into my shopping cart,
Don't really need the 5cm gun itself. I need the 2 single wheeled transport trolley's it's sitting on. Prolly throw the 5cm on a truck or something later. Took today off as it was slow at work, jumped on the bicycle and pedaled my butt to Lidl for a couple of sale items,
A big box of alligator clips and the drawer unit for resin figs (right side row) and little stuff. Real cheap!!! Got both for €10,98............
There's no hope for me, and matron can't help either.....I'm a goner............
Prost

Hi Dave,Andy,
I had a go at this - I made the mistake of trying to replace the barrels with a Voyager detail set. I had to give up, 'cos I couldn't get all the barrels parallel & pointing in the right direction. Really frustrating!
Dave
Hmmmmm....... you too eh Steve?....... I see a pattern developing here!!:thinking:I'm with you on this Dave - potentially a great model but ..... I had the same experience and I have one more virgin model to try (Please Tamiya produce the ultimate Ontos!)
Morning Allen, well that is when I,m seeing it ,ta do much for showing he in better light,he is very good for a 3d ,as some times they do lackMorning, afternoon, evening Monica (Please choose one),
I hope all is well with you in the land down under. The figure is 1/35 from MAIM (Modern Armies In Miniature) and was a free gift with my order. The poor dog's leg was broken when I got the package, but no big deal. Here's a close up,
and here is how it should (maybe) look when painted,
MAIM makes this figure in different scales and they are all 3D printed. You might want to look at BNA Hobbies in your neck of the woods. Please take care and I guess winter is coming too, huh!!!
Prost
Allen
PS, postage from Germany would be 3-4 times more than the cost of the figure.......................

Nice I'm working on this at the moment, otb build though.To complete my Tamiya 1/700 King George V set, postie delivered the Eduard PE set for the mode;
Added to the Hunter wooden deck, this now looks like several headaches in store..............
It's taken me a couple of months to get these - the model & PE from ebay, and the wood deck from AliExpress in China - why so long? - To get the best price, of course :rolling:
