Tamiya Battery operated hand drill, comes as a kit which you have to build, slow rpm, small, but looks a decent quality.

Andy T - I think you may be right at this rate.....see another post shortly to be posted.....

Geoffers - I think you may well be right....I also factored in likely resale value should I ever have a stash clearout

Thanks again chaps!

Andrew

Ian M - I have always been struck with them for some reason, and when you consider this effectively cost £13, it was too good a chance to miss. In this case the paint options are a black special ops job or a far more interesting red and white fire service scheme - apparently a number were used by one of the US fire services after their military service was finished.

I've been using that for several years and I'm fully satisfied: light, slow, with a good torque to drill plastic and wood.

OK chaps, so more arrivals.....

ACW as usual.

Andrew

Masks for the recent wingy purchases.....

Thanks to points with a certain well known national chain...that were thanks to the aforementioned wingy purchases....£5 off

Put this together yesterday.
I’m going to put my spray booth on there so I have a dedicated painting area 😊.

Nice and simply but will work perfectly! I'd love to have that but stuck in the kitchen as I am, I have to stick with the dual use table......😞

Look on the bright side though Andrew, not far from the kettle, biscuit tin or fridge 😉

Geoff.

Been wanting some kind of magnifyer for a while but not the usual optivisor type.....hobbycraft have these in for 12 quid so thought it would be worth a go

Also picked up some french curves......got an idea for a tattoo i want to draw based on the Fibbonacchi sequence so i need to be able to do an accurate spiral.....thought they might come in useful in the future for making camo masks for aircraft....only 4 quidish

A sweep in the Model Shop where I used to go when a teenager and I came out with these:

Three Paint pots for my future F 16 C aggressor, some decal and masking paper and a green stuff acrylic putty.
No kits, I was brave and strong! 😁

Went in to get some Tamiya masking tape, in my local model shop, got talking and the guy in the shop convinced me to buy this, Model Craft masking tape, four small rolls, in four different widths. He reckons its as good as the Tamiya stuff, (and cheaper) we''ll see......
Plus yet more paints, I'm learning you can never have enough! 😎
