.....we binge watched 'The Gone' till all hours. Interesting listening to the back'n'forth between Irish & New Zealand accents w/the occasional Maori language tossed in.....

Afternoon chaps!

Firstly apologies for my a complete lack of my presence over the festive period but I came down with a nasty cold type bug the weekend before Christmas that basically laid me up for two weeks. The Covid test was negative and so it wasn't that and I don't think it was the flu but whatever it was, it was knocked me out completely for two weeks.....to the point I didn't even look at the bench until yesterday and even that was just to tidy it up!!

Secondly, some really nice hauls over the festive period...some really nice hauls indeed.

Anyway the following is a what I got over the festive period...some as presents and some with money I got as gifts for Christmas and my early-December birthday.

ACW as usual.

First up was this Secret Santa present from work...it's a kit and so counts!!

Before Christmas my wife kept asking me what I wanted and I had no idea....then sadly I had an email from an airbrush website I get spares from, to say they were having a closing down sale and so I decided to stock up on spares I'm most likely to need in the future. Sad to seem them go but I reckon I averaged 40% off RRP on this lot.

Next up the kids bought me these bits and pieces. The Tiffy AM parts are for my Hasegawa Tiffy....wouldn't normally have bought them but as it was Christmas, I thought I'd splash out.

Picked these two up in a well-known craft chain's Christmas sale, plus I also had some vouchers from them due to my birthday and rewards points.

The Seafire was a good price at £14.50 including my reward points (normally £20-25).

The Liberator though was an outstanding deal. I have been looking for one for ages but they're normally £40-£45, albeit I have seen it as in the mid-£30s recently, and so have been too rich for me. This however only set me back £19.50 thanks to the sale and my birthday voucher

So thats my new years resolution gone west lol
