Been into town and bought a few bits to keep me busy. My first set of master box figures I've heard good things though? Also bought a new set of very fine brushes which I desperately needed as mine were in terrible condition (going to look after these) And building up my Vallejo acrylic paint collection tooView attachment 286153

Only went into l.m.s to pick up the flak crew ended up emptying my pockets. Oh well never mind

Had to resort to eBay for my StuG III since I just couldn't get hold of it locally (unless I paid way too much) but it seems to be a good kit - and my first Dragon kit.

My previous order for the Landkreuzer P.1000 Ratte fell through for some reason so that was also re-purchased on eBay.

I've now built up a stash that should last me the rest of the year, I hope...

German Jagdpanzer IV/70(V) Lang - Tamiya
Nashorn Heavy Tank Destroyer - Tamiya
Landkreuzer P1000 Ratte - Takom
German E-100 Super Heavy Tank - Trumpeter
SR-71 BLACK BIRD - Italeri
King Tiger World War Toon - Meng
Soviet Heavy Tank KV-2 World War Toon - Meng
German Tiger I Heavy Tank World War Toon - Meng
Haunebu II - German Flying Saucer - Squadron
Sturmgeschütz III Ausf.G w/Zimmerit July 1944 Late Production 6633 - Dragon

...but Amusing Hobby is releasing their Jagdpanzer E-100 in September and that's a given one for my lineup, and then there's the new Takom Panther coming soon too...
I'm going to have to buy more paint, that's for sure! ;)

Let's not forget the models that are currently on the bench on top of these ones as well...

I think the Russian recon team would make a great little diorama, looks like a scene from one of my favourite war films 'the star'

And the anti tank gun was just cheap so thought why not View attachment 286361

Last Saturday was mine & the wifes 22nd wedding anniversary and she got me the Revell 1/400 Titanic centenary model with the extras like a reproduced brochure and menu. Looking forward to starting it after I have made room on the bench as it is 67cm long. I was going to put a picture up but the camera is playing up at the mo.

Congratulations - and congratulations! :)

I hope you bought her something nice as well, like a Takom King Tiger or perhaps a Eduard BF109E 1/32? :D

Anyhow, good luck with your Titanic and may it stay afloat - and to a happy marriage! (where you have better ideas for gifts than me... hehe...)

Not familiar with the revell offering so would be interested to see what you get once your camera is working.

I ended up with the limited edition academy one some time ago which as part of the pack has a small jigsaw puzzle. Trouble is when you get something like this it become a collectable rather than something to break down and build.

Best wishes to you and your wife and happy building.

The FedEx man bought this today, ordered it on Friday, which is really quick considering its from the Czech Republic. Maybe that's why it was €24 p&p. I also bought the floats to convert the Revell Arado from a 196B to a 196A.
