Hi Monica,
Interesting figures, would love to see them with some paint on. With regards to the horizontal lines, can they not be sanded out at all?
Si
Hi,Si,glad that you do like them,
with the other plastic,he used I,could pop the figure in a jar, then add some, acetone and heat up,and would smooth it all out, worked great,
that's what I was thinking of doing,as there maybe about 1mm or less,as I,can get to some most spots, but not all,so maybe have half/half with, without,
that may not look so bad,or was thinking of some type of fill, maybe, not to sour on that one, maybe just to much hard work, see she is not smoothed out you can see the lines, but not oh so bad,see need to do the finishing off of her the fine detail,
do i mite give it a go,and see how it looks,:smirk:

Hi John
Very interested to see this build. I am not really a wingy thing builder but bought The Eduard Profipak 1/48 Spitfire at Cosford and so following this would give me many tips and ideas I'm sure.
Jim
Sure, watch out for the build in November to February. That is when the GB runs. I’ll actually be building 3 kits- a ZM 1/48 Ta 152 and an Eduard 1/48 F-16AM as well as that Fw

Well I can't believe my luck, I do look in on my local charity shop just to see if there's any kits. But I don't normally find anything. So you can understand my supprise when I found this.

But I urmmed and arred over the price a little, then gave them the £5 they wanted for it, then ran out of the shop before they could change there minds.

Bargain!

I would be green but it ain't quite as good as the box of Lego I got for £10 a few years ago. Turned out there were three almost complete Star Wars kits (minus the minifigs as usual). I spent about £10 buying replacement bits for the missing items and I sold them for £120. I coulda doubled that if the minifigs were there!

Completed collecting this about the start of this year this is the instructions to construct a 1/8 Mustang Fastback

I've been to Southport this weekend Colin, and saw one of these completed in a shop. It looked very nice indeed. Looking forward to seeing this one being built.

Yea I will be following our resident car modeller extradinar Roy as he has either finished or is still building one of these with his meticulous attention to detail

Got this brand new off ebay for the ridiculous price of £71 inc P&P.

Why ridiculous? This is the bonus included in the kit:

I think Hobby Boss has made a serious error with their marketing as they don't mention (in English) on the box that this is included. Thank the Gods for reviews or I would not have known.

Hi Dave
That certainly is a bargain. Crazy that it is not clearly stated on the box front. There is a tank shown so maybe they thought that was all that was needed. I look forward to seeing you build this monster. Any plans to start it anytime soon?

I have no idea I'm afraid Jim! My stash is growing waaaay faster than I can build, and kits arrive at the top of my 'to do' list based on whatever takes my fancy at the time.

PS Just had another look at the box. It has the usual small print: "Actual model may vary from image on box". I'll bet that's because a lot of box art shows the subject in context with other vehicles which are not included so they have to cover themselves. You can't always trust the box art to show what's inside.

PPS Also noticed the shop's price sticker - £109.99!

what a lucky man you are Jay,would lov some freebies,
will look forward to seeing these,s on the bench,:smiling:
