Hi John, you will have fun getting the shape on that Defiant right. Unless Airfix have changed the shape and mould (doesn't look like it from your photo), the nose wasn't deep enough, the tail was the wrong shape and the radiator scoop was situated in the wrong place. If you do alter the kit please add a build thread as I would be interested to see how you do it. Cheers.

are you going to break our hearts telling how little you paid for all that lot? haha
£55 for the kits, £115 for the King and Country tanks.

The Famo looks lovely in its box. Not so sure about the Morser - 500 pieces makes it awfully fiddly.

Hi again flyjoe180, been looking on 'tinternet' got one or two pic's of the Defiant & cant see a prob with the placing of the rad scoop.

It seems to be in the same place on the kit.

I have seen some pic's with the scoop on the std wing, maybe it depends where it's deployed as to where the scoop is placed. !!

Any thoughts

John

Dear John,

I am finding more and more that the Tamiya line of Armour is of seriously great quality, so far. This is of course from a novice standpoint. :)

Wow! What an awesome piece of SPA
Certainly looks as good (if not better) as the other self propelled stuff around doesn't it Mike :) :)

This is next on the build list (apart from the "Modern Armour Group Build" of course)
