On a jolly to the local hobby shop to order some civilian figures I picked up these View attachment 78540

The RAF emergency set is for a dio involving a spit coming in for an emergency landing and the tank crew is for a dio with two panzers and another set of figures that are different but it will all come together when completed View attachment 191563

Funny you should mention that. Change Spitfires to Mustang, Typhoon and P-40E and you're on target for the sins I just committed.

Hi all. For the first time I can remember, I actually went to my local model emporium for something specific, namely the new Airfix Lightning, only to find they didn't have one !!! So I consoled myself with this that I found in their stash. On first inspection it looks fairly straightforward, but I'm sure I can sort that out.....!

Some might say don't build it but I'm a builder and I'm going to build it
