my haul from my visit to todays Northern Model Show

cant resist a bargain :D

1/24 Tamiya 911 for a tenner

1/35 Vickers E tank for £4.50

1/35 Trumpy Aerosan for £7

1/72 Italerai AH-6 for a fiver

you can never have enough oil drums......especialy when its 2 quid

some Russkie tank crew for another 2 quid

individual tank tracks for Panzer IV chassis.....and ive got a FlakPanzer IV to do .....another 2 quid

and something ive been after for ages....some 1/35 flowers so i can make a start on that MiniArt dio base i keep chickening out off......£6.50
 
nice buys Si cannot wait to see what you do with them, ;) and nice and cheap that we all lov so much :rolleyes:

also nice Ian like the looks off these 2 as well.o_O
 
A visit to LMS yesterday and having seen a few of these recently beautifully done on the forum I had to get one going to have to up my game on this to come close to the ones I've seen here so I think this will be what I call a plod build nice n steady nice detailing on the kit View attachment 83463

They don't come round often that's for sure. The little shop in Hook does themed displays, usually around the Remembrance week and I scored a bag of models once for £17.50. I sold the kits I didn't want and doubled my money! I dropped in today because of the recent D-Day anniversary but this was the only model kit they had. To be honest, F-14's don't really light my fire because of the paint scheme and masses of decals but this is the high-viz paint scheme so it might get to see the light of day.

I just completed this kit, the one with the blue fin. You'll enjoy building it.
