just thought post me latest buys, thu had many just never get around to posting but thought would this time,im still waiting for my birthday present to myself that got from kingkits sale, but had the new eduard tiger come Thu yesterday that got with some b,day money and was a bargin at just under £25, at first glance feel bit let down as the kit its self is very poor, do realize its a re box of the academy one but expected it to be the on to be with the interior but its not, only bit extra was choose of schemes and bit of etch being the grills!!!

and today had a wonderful figure funny thing was did buy two were both posted at same time as from same person, but only one arrived???

the figure is resin of a warrior princess "Mona" some fantastic detail and very clean , looking forward to building her but worried as I know my paint skills are not good enough to do her justice
This figure looks magnificent

I love it...she has a "Final Fantasy" style...O_o

I will follow with many, many and much more interest when you post the under construction thread :P

I'm glad you took the plunge with the Eduard King Tiger Batcode - I was thinking about getting it if it matched the quality of their aircraft kits.

Not now though!

im not saying the tigers bad, just I personaly expected more to it like with there aircraft kits you do get a rebox but with some nice touches and nice extras but with the tighre you don't, theres no interior as thought there would been, if knew then think I would got the acadmy one, ok got this on ebay for £24 posted which is at least £15-£20 cheaper than most .

as for the figure the detail is superb and the resin is so clean no marks or even airbubbels , but im worried as I cant do the faded paint and flesh

Wow peter that's steads car from the new avengers if I'm not mistaken :) and what a find I think I'm going to check out boots near me :)

I've made this, and makes a good model, but I payed full price, which was considerably more than £4

holy crap Peter!!!! thats the best part of £100 s worth of kit to buy now. I go to a local boot most weeks and have only ever seen a handful of kits (which i bought of course!!) and absolutely bugger all this year , I think i'm going to have to come down dorset next week!!! although i might not make it back to sheffield in time for breakfast like i normally do!!!LOL!!! Superb result mate keep em coming , cheers tony

Its arrived - ordered direct from Airfix who are just up the road from me... It seems that a lot of model shops have already sold out. Ordered mine Saturday.

Though I am at work I did open up and take a quick look and it seems Airfix have upped their game in both packing and in their instructions...... All colour pictures of the made up model included appropriately weathered at the back.... a first for that I have seen.... Attached is a pic of the first page of construction showing a new drawiong style I have not seen with Airfix before. I recon we will be seeing great things from Airfix in future... Sorry the first photo is not the right way up and I dont know how to correct it.
