This just arrived....I decided to give one of these books a try as the Airfix Tiffy certainly deserves some extra TLC. The walk around photos are excellent and it really provides some good information on gettting the best out of the kit. Had a response from Airfix, incidentally, about the canopy issue a standard request for the sprue id.

what did they say?

btw, a cockpit upgrade will be available next month

Hi Barry is this for extras you can get for kit ie: pe seatbelts ect or is it an instruction manual made easier to understand ?
Its a complete build of the kit with two different options for the internals plus a lot more Tiffy information to enable an accurate build. Nothing to do with pe or aftermarket after all the kit being so new little is around.

Thanks Barry I think I'll get a copy , as I think the instructions in the kit are a bit of a mess lol , I have dyslexia and sometimes when there's dull colours it can make a build more difficult and the added explanation in this book could be better for me :)

Thanks for telling me

That's a nice kit it looks much better than the 1/48 , the wings on the 1/48 are separate to the fuselage and it's all raised panel lines :) , you got a bargain with that DVD the cheapest I've found is £10.49 on evil bay

Thanks for the pics

I was at my local car boot didn't see one model kit and cant say I have , get so jealus all these car boot finds lol

well done guts some nice bargins

People say there are too may Spitfires and Hurricanes and Bf109s on the kit market, but lately there seems to be a lot of Harriers and Stukas.

Sorry Joe to add to the ever increasing numbers of harriers but for a £1 I could not pass on this little gem and after looking on the Airfix website I have now discovered after entering the item code number for paint references it's turned out to be a bit of a stealView attachment 86410

But don't worry I won't be building this anytime soon I have to many other things to do at the momentView attachment 199433
