I'm getting the mossie on Tuesday , I've built the tamiya 1/48 so it will be good to compare the kits

Don't be disappointed with the Airfix Mossie Alan it is a re-box of the old kit. It does though build into a great bird. Quite a few say that it has a better shape than the Tamiya bird.

Thanks Ian I thought it was new tool , does it have raised panel lines ?

ERm.... yes and no. You will see when you open the box. There are very few panel lines on a mossy so not a real issue and the are very slight.

Thanks Ian I don't think I'll bother , I was undet the impression it was new tool , I built the old one and thought it was a terrible kit so I'm going to put the money towards something else instead , the shop owner won't mind if he makes more money out of me

Last of the kits for this year well it sounds good if I say it enough times any way these were just too good a bargain to turn away I managed to get these 3 for £45.00 all in

very nice,,,,ive seen those two built up at a show, makes a very impressive display

Well my little dio with a panzer and troops is going on the back burner for a while because this arrived this morning View attachment 87196

This will be my first resin kit so I'll have to look up some info on tools and glues to build it , the kit not only comes with a PE fret and mettle gun barrels and other stuff but I don't know what those are yet View attachment 200219

Yes mate it is and there's loads of little bit to stick on , I was expecting a model kit type of thing with all moalded detail but it's not it's got detail on detail

Cheers Adrian I'm at the moment looking for a better set of instructions online as the ones that come with the kit are very basic
