well went to Nic,s for a chat and get some paint and came home
with this little guy,pore chimp,


the stories behind it is that he was from a shipwreck ,and could not


speak French,so they hanged him as a English spy

I believe the shipwreck was off the town of Hartlepool.The ape couldn't speak English.So the local idiots thought he was a French spy and he was hanged.People from there are sometimes referred to as 'Monkey Hangers'!.I think that's the story anyway.
