Hi Monica,

Thanks,i like to gather allsorts as it keeps the imagination folowing :)

Cheers,Ben

Picked this one up at Duxford, coincidently Dave, from The Blenheim Society Stand yesterday. An interesting kit as far as construction is concerned as it is held together with screws. That said it it can be made into a nice model(see photo below). No sprus and no part numbers but all build sections are bagged individually including a set of screws. Decals look good and are in registration. So all in all a simple build that might require some filler but otherwise I don't se any problems.

That does look nice, it still needs built and painted, I have no problem with snap kits either, you can build them like normal models and glue them if you like, sanding and filling as you see fit. All the more kits to try!

Good stuff! I have just got to finish the 360, which is a bit of a pigs ear with the Windows because of the rescued body which is missing window seals! Then it's on to the 1/16 BMW for the GB. Let's see if I can do a reasonable job of it without too many cock ups! Even if I don't finish in time I don't care.

Currently working away from home though so I will be rapidly falling behind :(

This arrived this morning. One to add to my ever growing collection of FAA aircraft. A quick look in the box reveals a very nice looking kit. All that remains now is PE or not PE? Hmmmm......

Ooh nice, pe definitely. Would be rude not to

I've built three Classic Airframes kits.A Lockheed Hudson,Avro Anson and a Defiant. The main airframe parts are lnjection moulded and don't have locating pins or tabs.items like the cockpit details and engines are usually in resin. And there's usually a fret of etched parts. They are not easy builds.Definately not for the beginner.

Further to collecting bits & pieces for my Revell He 219, this is what I have so far.

Some of which arrived this morning.

Still looking for some late war 1/32 back seat & ground crew..

The CMK engines being advertised in the Hannant's catalogue, aren't going to be released until next year. Despite being in their listing!

Collecting all this in advance of being able to getting back to doing some serious modelling, hopefully soon.
