ive remembered!.........recent episode of Roadkill!

From Alton Model Centre today, Airfix's latest Sea King boxing featuring XZ586 in FI grey and Oxford Diecast RAF Sherpa. 586 is a cab I knew well on D flight when she was still in her FI grey frock but with 202 Sqn's markings and painted on bullet holes.
The Sherpa was a common site on RAF bases in the 80's and early 90's so will make an interesting addition to a flight line vignette.

Love the Merkava, I just love the look of them. Nice kits Tommy.

Thanks Ian, it really is a lovely looking kit, lots of great detail, I've got a Meng Merkava and I thought that was the dogs doo dahs, but I think that this one tops it.

Nice kits Peter, I've built the Handley page 400, not a bad kit at all. I did some extra work on mine though, to have the wings folded.

Couple of small job lots I picked up on ebay:

I don't normally build 1/72 but I like the P-40 I got for the Cosford under-a-fiver build so ....

I believe these have had a mixed selection of reviews but I like them - especially the sponges. I find them perfect for removing glue marks without damaging scribed detail.

Well done Dave this lot should keep you busy for a while.

Steve.

You need to be careful Steve. 'Stashitis' is very contagious - you can catch it from almost any modeller you meet or even contact via t'internet!

This started with the F100 as something to do, then ooh look and you know how that goes.. The F100 is started and there is a '69 ZL-1 Camaro on the way too.

I've seen several kits that I'd like to get my hands on but as they are not in production they aren't readily available. Some are on US Ebay, but its an expensive way to get them with the postage.
