See Al, every thing worked out well in the end.

I actually won an auction on e-bay as well yesterday. An Eduard Spitfire 22/24 should be winging its way to me as I write!! Yea!

quite happy as i have just found a e-mail receipt from creative models that my daughter has obviously had sent to my computer instead of hers by mistake for a miniart german street dio and masterbox figures set......i know what i am getting of child number one for chrimbo.....feel like a naughty child now sneaking round trying to find presents,,off to see what the other three kids have hidden lol.

Got a new bit of kit the other day, no picture yet sorry.

It's a headband and visor with 4 interchangable flip down/up magnifing lens x1.5 to x3.5 and a small spotlight.

All for £7 from Boyes - well pleased.

Tony.

Couldn't resist a Christmas present to myself ; Trumpeters Jagdpanzer E-100 super-heavy tank destroyer. Should keep me busy making one of these 'what-if' kits & I have a special paint job in mind for it ;-)

Seeing how the Chrimbo pressy thread is a bit out of season now I will chuck this in here,

The LHS has reopened after the holiday and i got to pick up my present from SWMBO.

All we need them to do now is the crew for it. They have done them for all the others in the series, so no doubt they will turn up later.

Well I was in town yesterday as SWMBO had to go in to sit an exam. This left me with four hours to kill. Unfortunately for me there was a model shop not five minuets walk from where she had to be.....:-)

What was the first things that caught my eye as I scanned the shelves?

came in at about £18 for the Jag and @£8 for the Hunter. Considerably cheaper than on e-bay...and no post!!! Yea.

The Hunter will be giving up its undercarriage for the Tiger squadron one which the cats bounced of the floor, shattering the UC into a million bits. (still haven't found the wheels!)

The rest of the kit? Maybe a wheels up and on a stick!

The Jag? If you recall the Spotty Jag I did, the decals included those for the last T2, so I have just ordred the conversion set from NeOmega and will give that a bash later.

Well worth tramping about in the rain for four hours? Frozen and wet, arthritic knees, not a good combo. Had to take a sick day today as I couldn't even get down the stairs this morning!!!!

Erm Duh!

Thats a nice result Al , Recieved these today for the Spitfire VB , the xtradecal`s look very nice ( cheers lads you know who you are ) options for 11 different VB`s and a nice 4 page colour reference chart also giving a little history of each aircraft ie - where the aircraft was based , Pilots name and rank and number of kills etc which is a nice touch , also got the eduard masks and cockpit pe which need no introduction to you aircraft boys.

I'm in the middle of building this kit. Cant fault the detail at all. However, somehow, I managed to lose about 4 of the exhausts. I've no idea how I did it as I only cut off what I need. Great kit though.
