Great score Ian and from a charity store lol. All weve got in ours are smelly old suits

Here's the big stuff I've got from ebay since Xmas.

Don't know why so many people knock ebay. I know some have had problems, but I buy LOADS of stuff and I've had only two minor niggly problems - neither of which cost me more than a couple of quid. Meanwhile, I've found all of these at prices below (sometimes considerably below!) what you'd pay in the shops.

Just waiting for my 1/24 Mossie to arrive. Should be tomorrow and I paid the princely sum of £84 including postage!

Sorry ...off topic.

Aaron, that wouldn't by any chance be the MacAlpine (or name variant) dress/function tartan would it?

You got a free lanc lol. Very nice score.Good luck with the alcad. Where did you source your klear? I get mine from Greatmodels
I got the Klear from ASDA, part of the Walmart Store Group for the pricely sum of £3.16p, so I got two.

I've seen it in Wilkinsons over here, the nearest one to me is in sunny Walsall, however the last time I looked they'd changed the layout of the store and (surprise, surprise) there was no sign of it any where :sobbing: . The Klear I found, is I believe the new formula.

When you asked about Klear I'm presuming (wrongly) you meant Klear as in Pledge Floor Wax, NOT the ALclad Klear. I got the Alclad Aqua Gloss from Sprue Mart about a £5 a bottle. My apologies. duh!!

Score Ian! I pay $9 to have a airbrush container of klear shipped from the states lol. Thanks for the feedback

Colin, All i can say is WOW, Yessir MacAlpine it is. I have it tattooed on my neck (im kinda proud of my surname)

Sorry for taking this OT

Yes another one. Been looking for the paint for it. Looks like I am going to have to go enamels on this one... Xtracolor has them, DOA make a set with Caunter colours as well. If not I will have to see what I can find in the Humbrol draw... I have a feeling this will not be the Last valentine I buy either. It really is a nice kit, buy one, you won't be sorry Patrick.

I got home today to find this waiting for me.

I already have Caldwell and Muller's "The Luftwaffe Over Germany-Defence of the Reich" as well as various other tomes on this subject (by Boiten,Freeman etc) but this latest acquisistion is superb. So good that I've spent a couple of hours leafing through it instead of watching the Grand Prix on catch up :)

It is a day by day account of the defence of the Reich replete with maps, tables and pilot's accounts. It also contains some decent photographs though that's not why you'd buy it. It is also, importantly for a history, emminently readable. I can't reccommend it highly enough. If you are interested in the subject buy one now,it's the sort of book that will be going for hundreds of pounds on ebay in ten years time!

Ooo Drew id love to see that Miniart be built and the steel chasis lav looks interesting. I am building a dragon steel chasis sturmtiger and the steel chasis is different but not all together unpleasent. Nice score.

I've been after the LAV for a while now, really don't want to put it in the stash but have too many builds already planned out.

The mini-art building may make an appearance in the second half of the year (in one of the GB's or SIG's, can't remember which one), I know how awkward they can be so am a bit nervous about it. We'll see how it goes...
