Acquisitions and stash building

The attached pictures show my latest acquisitions.

With the exception of the twin Harrier kit which came with the bigger scale stuff as a freebie, the rest were discovered whilst digging out my boy's bedroom. They must be at least 8 and probably 10 years old and all free, together with some paints that will bear examining!

The bigger scale stuff came at 20% off for the single seaters and a further 20% off the total plus the freebie, for joining a manufacturers club! Result!!

Enough with the 7 kits I already have to see me through at least one and possibly two winters, given that I move very slowly with kit building.

Storage is now the big problem!

Peter

I'd love to acquire something. I ordered a kit which three different shops said was in stock only to have all three of them tell me that their system hadn't updated and that they didn't have it! I won't name them as none of them are bad traders, infact I've had excellent service from all of them in the past. I'll put this down to bad luck. I finally left that kit on back order with one of them and ordered something else to build.

If/when something turns up I'll let you know lol.

Cheers

The Hobby Boss 1/48 tanks are getting popular since the build on here. I got one at Duxford (T34/85 1944 model flattened turret), forgot to mention it in the Duxford post. Have to say that half the price of the Tamiya 1:48 and with full interiors, and the odd bit of pre installed photo etch for the grills, they are superb value. Only had a look through the bits but the detail looks superb. Any chance of you supplier doing them John??????

Really looking forward to see that one developing Rich, very nice.

I've got these two recently. I have an idea of what I want to do with the Bf109 but not the Fw190.I bought it because unless you count a D-9 I haven't built one for ages. When I told SWMBO that I got what I think is called"a pitying look".

At least I'm on familiar territory with these two

Cheers

here is mine
I've built the two Ducati's and the OW01 over the years so i can vouch for the fact that they are great kits. I haven't done a bike for years now maybe it's time to get back into them.
