I kept trying it with Gin the other night Andy, all was going well until I fell over and banged my shoulder. Slept like a log afterwards though.... well, woke up in the fireplace anyway......

It is a cracked tooth exposing the nerve, just need the damn nerve to die off and t will be fine.

Arrived today guys. The 1/6th Limited Edition Die Cast Metal Sherman Tank R/C. I have had a quick peek. It is already weatherd and comes with painted tank crew and all the trimmings, fully detailed inside and looks really good. I intend to do this one as Oddballs Tank from Kellys heros and have already found a figure of Oddball to go in it. I will give you a detailed look at it when i get it out of the box very soon. Stay tuned. Also my second Tank, not sure if you have see this one or not.

You lucky so and so, you'll have to sell them planes quick to pay for this armour addiction you've acquired

Thread owner
Too right Darren. You guys have converted me to Tanks, lol. All planes are on hold for now.

Right guys, everyone back onto planes lol..... sorry Andy ;-)

The big question is when are you going to start building an RC tank in 1/8 scale Andy?

Thread owner
Andy, as you've got a taste for all things tracked have you looked at Armortek, totally out of my price range but they do look the dogs danglely wosits.

Just received this 1/35 Flakpanzer from a ebay seller, was quite excited as i was looking forward to building it. After a quick glance in the box and a read up of the instructions i noticed something odd, the whole turret assembly was missing... gutted as it was sold as a new item, sending it back for a refund tomorrow.

Wouldn't mind an odd piece broken/missing but its half the vehicle..oh well.

Ian, ive been looking for a larger scale and cant find anything, if i could i would buy one, 1/8th would interest me a hell of a lot. Darren, i havent seen what you are suggesting can you post some pics and ill have a look mate. Armour is a new feild to me and i like to explore.

I have started painting the tank crew, didnt reakise how long it takes to paint these figures.

Thanks

Andy

Well if its a big tank you want Andy you could find one here. http://www.mark-1-tank.co.uk/ Oh my bad their sherman is 1/6 scale. They have a tiger in 1/8 though. Oh they have them in 1/4 scale too....

Sorry but I just had to tell you.

Ive been looking at this site Ian. I would rather buy a kit and assemble it from scratch. I would have to sell a couple of planes to buy one of them.

I would have though that if you could build something as complex in shape as an aircraft, a tank in 1:4 would be a piece of whatsit.... No need to worry about the weight either. Tracks may be an issue though.
