Size looks about right but the paint colour is a bit off. Looks rather watery.

Very nice 'Peg' John, but why are you trying to empty the lake using just a pint glass?

Very nice John. As someone who fished seriously (including matches) from their early teens to their mid-20s, I am very jealous that you have your own swim! I still have all the gear and still go a couple of times of a year.

I can fish all day every day, it doesn’t cost me, just had a nice little mirror

Very nice mirror indeed!

Given that I was normally match fishing I was normally after quantity rather than outright quality......amongst best I ever caught though was a 6lb common carp. I was fishing in a small river though and so whilst not huge it was beautifully toned rather than the slightly flabby look you sometimes get with still water fish.

Unless I'm mistaken it looks like you're on a lake?

Yes it is a lake, I only have to walk a few feet to it
