Hi . I am Laurie Stewart. I am a Surrey Man. However My Wife & I decided on a year's break
to live in Jersey. That was 1963 & still here.

Unfortunately 2 days & remembrance of my wife who died 3 years ago. After making over
50 models my interest died. But built one recently. Amazing how you forget the techniques.

Been on this forum before. Tut blotted my copy book. 88 in 2 weeks time so have mellowed
& hope to enjoy myself once again on this happy forum.

Live in an old peoples home. I have been kindly allowed to set up my "workshop". Also display all
my 50 models. Some hanging from the ceiling ( above my head when in bed mmmm).

Lastly I spent 50 years as an architect. Some time making architectural models which provide
my intrest in model making.

Sorry to hear about your wife passing away, I’m not surprised you lost interest in making models. Its good your new home has let you carry on modelling though.
