Made some Hen scratch this evening sure is nice having lights in the barn for those after work chores in the winter. I mixed a Grain Base we make at the Mill with Sunflowers to make my special mix. I ended up with 60 pounds of Hen Scratch. 0B5BE977-944E-426B-80E7-D6DDF85F65C2.jpegB2430091-534C-40E6-AB63-6FEBF3959769.jpegDCE8668B-6C66-4A71-8B57-B05DD04BD6A6.jpeg

We finally got a good Snow last night around 4” of wet snow. Also I’ve add a couple of Baby Bunnies that are about 8 weeks old to the Hobby Farm. 1373D789-33AD-4B55-A98A-F6BB5783E1C1.jpeg19319ABE-E24B-4E83-8AE0-8C56D2F653D7.jpegB828F746-2684-4E01-937C-8FA643D00D0D.jpeg56532776-F303-415B-83BB-04AE6D7CD2F4.jpegAAC57F33-F011-4483-BC8F-7E43B362DD95.jpeg9681DAED-161E-4A5F-B052-953624E5222C.jpeg

Looks like you are up to yer bunnies in it....the white stuff, that is. Rabbits are fun, had some when I was a youngster....I assume you have no coyotes or other predators around? ;)

Snow always makes things look beautiful. Cute little bunnies. Are they just pets or are you hoping they will do what bunnies are best known for and increase their numbers? Hens - the better the food the better the eggs.

First hatch of the year. 8 hatched out February 14 and 2 hatched out February 15. I currently have 13 eggs I put in the incubator yesterday and today so we’ll see how many hatch out in March.
