I would predict a "short" Spring and possibly a "wetter" summer than usual......just my insides talking.

Rick. I’m afraid your right I was hoping for a long spring but we still have 10 more days of below normal temperatures here.

Today was a first for me here in the Ozark Foothills. I’ve never seen it Snow so late in the year. So I decided to take some pics around my place and took a few pics of my neighbors lake with his Canadian geese. 447B0272-7E34-44B7-B0C4-EBC8D39713E9.jpegBA1BD2D3-F1E7-4ADD-9C77-2A185B2BC1F1.jpegC70C67C0-9A0F-45CE-B4EA-37AC42A28B5D.jpeg69E899EC-9EA9-47B1-A86E-7514EE88FB55.jpeg52844698-6F76-4C63-B133-21AB9E945863.jpegACC8F608-09F2-4B07-9167-5479DF06F117.jpeg2B410EEA-EBD1-413D-A9BC-5742918BE4D3.jpegA608810E-7765-4C67-A608-2367A277904C.jpeg

Looks like you are suffering from "Climate Change" as well Lee .....had to put me shades on to keep from going "Snow Blind";).......Don't forget to "chain up" before heading out, wouldn't be good if you end up in a ditch. Rick H.

Rick. Never stuck on the roads but it’s going to be 26 degrees tonight glad I didn’t plant anything

Yeah......it hit 28 here last night, not good. We have Mallards on our pond but they don't let me get close enough to take a decent picture......just gaffing you about getting stuck :rolling: ;) Rick H.

Brother in law lives in Massachusetts, they're getting some snow, but nothing much.

Tonight I planted some zucchini squash and spinach inside. I never done this going to see if it works

Get them started inside, then plant the 'plugs' out next month (hopefully you'll then be clear of frost) no different from using a green house :thumb2:

Strange weather patterns that's for sure. Good luck with the indoor planting.

Rick. Your right these are not house plants. I’ve always started tomatoes and peppers in the house but not these

Gerry. I can’t wait to got this stuff in the ground outside but I think it’s going to be a bad year.

Steve. Yes it was very cold the other day here for mid April

Jim. I started this stuff in the house because of the strange weather at least I know there protected. I might get a few grow lights to help things along. Thanks for stopping by

Hi Lee, too bad, I was hoping you would save out a piece good enough to turn out a Louisville Slugger!
That Hickory is some tuff stuff.....makes good axe handles and ball bats.:thumb2: Rick H.

Sounds like you'll get a good warm from them - always liked burning oak, gave a longer burn than pine or other softwood

Rick. It’s ok I’ve got plenty of Hickory trees to make you a Ball Bat. That Hickory is heavy may take awhile to season.
