Made a start.... This is going to be bigger than i first thought

I like to add some weight to a tanks hull to make it 'sit' on the vinyl tracks........ Usually a couple of big nuts or similar is enough but the hull is so big ive had to come up with another solution...... I had some little plastic pots that was right size to fit inside..... Cut them down to right height....... Filled with little stones (fish tank medium..... Left over from when i did that dry stone wall in the infantry gb)..... Used a hot glue gun to fix in a lid.... Then glued into the hull....... Simples! 😆

Usual paint pot for scale

I buy cheap fishing ledgers usually

Word of warning.... Dont use ca to glue in lead..... Allegedly it causes a reaction where it 'grows' a sort of crystalline fungus which over time can cause seams to crack open

I dont know how true it is, i read about it years ago on a forum, but ive not took the risk since theres so many ways of glueing in without ca
