Hi all

So I made it to another show with our little club last week. It's on the very SE edge of our usual travel area and so we sometimes see clubs that we don't normally come across.

The show is in a building now owned by a church but back in it's past it was a parachute factory, including in the war, and so it's an appropriate building many ways. It's not that wide but unsurprisingly, it is very, very long!

Below are some taster pics but as usual I have created the full album, as there are too many pics to upload - link HERE. If any of you want any of the originals, then please let me know.

I hope you enjoy them.

PS...apologies but on closer inspection, some of the pics are slightly blurred for some reason...

These are my personal favourites. I know the modeller concerned and his thing is to take bit and pieces of old kits, kids toys, and scrap materials like food packaging and turn them into dystopian masterpieces in the stye of Mad Max.

And some examples from the rest.....

Wonderful displays, thanks for posting your photos Andrew. Intrigued by the pattern on the Mad Max vehicle in the third and fourth photos. I wonder if that's a gear box pattern?

Nice one Andrew!

Nice ones. Thanks for sharing.

Thanks for stopping by chaps and glad you like them.

Joe - in terms of the pattern, if you're referring to the bobble-like extra armour, then IIRC, that is the bottom of a plastic food packaging container. As I said, he will use anything!!

Thanks again chaps!

Thanks for those great photos Andrew. Always amazes me just how much talent, patience and time spent goes into the displays at these smaller shows.

You're welcome Jim. Your right, there are some amazing modellers out there. This show is one of my favourites, as although it's small, it's on the far SE of our 'normal' patch as a club and so we see work club that's we don't normally.
