Here is my finished Revell Swift Boat (PCF). The crew are having some fun trying to flick the boat's wash at some local's washing on a small river in the Mekong Delta.....


Just a pity I was unable to find some 1/48 Marines to pose onboard. I'll keep looking.


Just a handful of far too many pictures I took!

Awesome work Ron your water work is just fantastic. I hope you can get some figures to go with it, it would complement it so well
 
Brilliant mate , the water effects are amazing as usual . I love the scene too , i can just imagine the crew doing something like this! Loving the house too , cheers tony
 
Amazing love it! the water is spot on is that just paint and gloss varnish?
 
This has turned out really well.


I love everything about it from the buildings to the wake.

the water and river banks just look so real,and with the green to brownish water,


is spot on,and the boat itself looks great the whole,thing is amazing :D

Great work Ron, love the action in it as a scene. Modelling wise, it is just spot on, looks just right.

My god that is impressive I thought I was looking at a real picture at first, incredible work on that water. Reminds me of apocalypse now.


This is a perfect example of how a decent set of photos take the model to another level, I need to find the build thread now.
