As part of a charity event for the Sheffield Children's Hospital I've been asked to paint this sculpture in a local schools colour. The kids will then decorate it, and it'll be displayed alongside 150 others, plus 150 larger ones in an effort to raise money.
The school had a low budget, but obviously I've offered to do it for free.
This is how it arrived

Allegedly primed and ready for paint, previous experience with fiberglass moulds told me otherwise. I couldn't see much in the matt white so it had a few coats of shiny grey primer, which would help to highlight any imperfections

As I suspected, there were plenty
mostly where the various sections had been joined together.

They need this by the 20th so I'm fitting it in around other jobs. Next up will be a good sanding and another round of primer.
