Here is Lucy's crazy take on the Spitfire! She took about 30 minutes to go wild on a pre built model with no guide, you may need glasses to look at it but she had a great time just mixing random paints and slapping them on so I refrained from telling her what to do!

This was a children's activity at scale Scotland, I must say I really enjoyed it if only the venue was a tad bigger and being the airport hotel it was expensive for refreshments but I sincerely hope we get another show next year it was well organised etc...

They should all have been painted like that, very picasoesque love it, let that artistic flair free, well done Lucy.

I could imagine Banksy being jealous of this creation

Just thinking, if they were painted like that, they would weigh quite a bit! A lot of paint went on this!

The fact you don't have to explain who picaso is speaks volumes

I like that a lot Lucy ......... Much better than the boring dull Greens & Browns most people use on Spitfires ......... That is a really super "dazzle" job..... I do like that Orange on the Propeller. Well done.

Lucy says thanks, I might get her some better brushes for her mini, I am struggling to get her to learn the best way to use them but she is only 6. I helped a good but with her car to see if it would spur her on. She wanted to do the Spitfire at the show and had fun going to town on it.

It don't matter what she does mate long as she has fun, keep her at it, maybe a Tiking or roymattblack in the making or maybe even a Anders Malmberg.

Any hobby should be fun and she's on the right track Doug so let her be free to do what she wants I think it looks great :)

That's why I haven't pressed on with the next car, I'm waiting until she is ready for it herself but I think she will enjoy it more that way... we will see what happens!

Cheers

It's best that way , let them take to it on their own , mind you I would love to see the result if you let her lose with a brush on that mini :D

Let's think about this..... Today's military use lots of decoy painting and who knows Lucy could yet be the artist for the next Typhoon or Raptor

Watch her space eh????

Great job Lucy , i really like the propeller in orange too , cheers tony
