Your welcome Andy, if I can get the sets as good as yours in the last dio I'll be pleased .I'll pull my chair a little closer for this part John.
Thanks Paul.Hi John,
Bring on the magic.
Indeed Rick .:tongue-out3:Go for it JR.....just like you to save the best part for last!![]()
Thank you Jim, hope you enjoy.Loving watching you working on this stage of a dio.

Thanks Graeme, sculptamold is a sort of plaster and shredded paper, mixed with water and used as a base .Dries over night to a solid .The exciting part, seeing where everything goes on the dio. Bring on the sculptamold (whatever that is) John, we like a bit of mess. At least it's not fire.....:rolling:

Very kind of you Dude1. No instructions to fathom out,no damned plastic tracks:angry:Outrageous work Dude 2!!! You are so in your element now and it shows...I'm loving this Buddy and PM tonight or in the morn. Lotsa table doings at the moment...
Prost
Dude 1
Thanks Jim:smiling2:Great stuff John. Another masterpiece in the making.
No problem Tim.Miles behind on this, sorry john. Just had a catch up though, and I’m mightily impressed. It’s coming on great. Figures look exceptional mate. Nice one :thumb2:
The best part Rick :nerd: I believe Matron is currently looking for Andy Smith after he said he was going to build a bi plane , shock horror :surprised:Looking the part JR........you always get this building lark in its place PDQ. As to the fire, I'll let Matron decide how involved you get with that!![]()
Fully agree Dave, all the render would have landed on the road, I'll make up some flat sheets of filler spread out onto some greaseproof paper . Will have to add a little PVA to strengthen it. Don't know if to add a coat of mat varnish and then paint. Adding water to the surface of the dried filler will weaken it .Thinking hat on .Nothing wrong with a bit of rendering ,like your thinking on it being dislodged by impact/concussion ,we recently had to re render the top half of a house the two sides that weathered the most practically fell off the others were a lesson in forgotten words and phrases only reason I mention John was the amount of stuff that needed cleaning up and showing the skip we had hardboard sheets downbefore scaffolding went up on top to make cleaning up easy but you'd be surprised just how much was on the floor so don't hold back on the dio ,I feel a often overlooked detail on a lot of dio's if the top half of a place caves in roof and all it fills the building up to chamber joist you never see that on a dio or if you do its very rarely. Still as usual keep up your excellent work and thoes small attention to details that make yours stand up above. Dave
