Nice work with the timbers :thumb2:

Bet the laths where a bit fiddly at 0.8mm :surprised:
Thanks Si, off to check later as I am sure it is .8.Seems a bit on the thin side .
Shaping up nicely John. Loving the realistic joinery as always.
Thanks Andy.

Definitely showing your wood working heritage. Fine work.
Jim , thank you .

All in a days work.....right Mr. Race!;)
Sure is Rick. Just a damn sight lighter .
Awesome mate
Thanks Paul .

0.8 x 32 = 25.6 which is just about an old inch, good for battens, and as 1/32 is a normal imperial measurement interval the strip stock was therefore probably 1/32 thickness……all good stuff.

Hi all , checked size and it was .8
Nice to have you two agree.
Actually cut the width to about 1 5 mm as it looked about right.

0.8 x 35 = 28mm, just over an inch in old money.

Up graded the tiles, back to the old material, this thickness af just over 1.2mm is easier to cut a tile into in a length.

Sorry guys...Even after 6 weeks in PA (Pyromaniacs Anonymous), he just went back to his old ways...No hope anymore as it's in his DNA...

He does make a fine job of burning stuff though. Years of practice of course.

You'll really have to stop smoking "Old Shag" in that pipe of yours. You'll set the whole house on fire with the sparks one day and Mrs R will not be pleased.
Looking good John :thumb2:
