It may have put up a fight Dave but the end result looks great to me.
A fantastic result that you can be proud of Dave.
The kit may have put up a fight but the result shows you've won. That is an excellent result.
In days to come you will learn to love it, cherish it, cuddle it and own it. You will share romantic trips to the beach, sit and take in the glow of the setting sun, give a big sigh and set off home after having walked barefoot on the beach with the soft sand between your toes....
The builds I have fought with are still there, and I look at them in passing and smile that I beat them.
Nothing wrong with the finished item, and that is what we strive for....
No complaints from me Dave. I know it was not a very good kit but it's turned out very nicely indeed.
Well done.
Andrew
Thank you all for your kind comments I hope you all to some extent enjoyed reading the whole build/saga ,you'd be surprised all the help and encouragement certainly helped and definitely made me want to hang in there for the team so to speak we do some times throw the towel in a bit to quick hope this shows to hang in and give it one more try. DaveCracking build David.
Your trials with the build don’t show in the final model.
Great stuuf
