Last ones - a Crocodile. I was chatting to the builder when I spotted a 1:1 scale Scratchbuilder.P1080296.JPG.

Lots of gongs.Well done Mike.Nice to see the Doher.About time i built one well U.S or uk one.
Rich.
Bit of work involved to backdate for the UK one... Stay clear of the Kinetic offering, go for the AFV Club one... Take care when assembling the lower hull and once this is done, then the rest takes shape.
Mike.

Very well done mate on the gongs, thoroughly deserved. And thanks for the piccy's. Will definitely be there next year.

Many congratulations on your medals, very well deserved. Also thanks for the images you and Pete for taking the trouble to post so many images.
Quick question - how do you transport the builds without incurring any damage?

Being a member of the modelling dark side, we have the ability to mind meld them to the show.... What a load of garbage....

Seriously - I obtained a couple of plastic bread trays via Evilbay they are about 1mtr x 150cm with a 50mm wall. To stop the models sliding around I taped (double-sided) some bubble wrap into the bottom and use rolled up lengths to stop and sideways movement.
They are easy to carry and once the public get a dig in the ribs from the corner, you get complete freedom of movement... Seen too many modellers using flimsy cardboard boxes where the bottom falls out because the selotape gave up holding the bottom closed.

Congratulations on the well deserved goings Wibble and thanks both of you and Pete for the piccies. Some nice builds there.

Cheers,
Wabble

Congratulations Mike with the awards. Well deserved. Looks like it was good weekend.
As for the 1/48 Wasp!! Who manufactured it?

One of my photos shows how someone did it - bread tray lined with expanded polystyrene and toothpicks to stop the models sliding about.

Many thanks Wabble, there were some really good builds there and the BoS really deserved it, like two peas in a pod we both watched each others model grow in the club.
