Thought i'd start this thread after we started talking about this subject on a different thread. Not wanting to detract from that thread and also maybe this would be easier for other people to find through the site and search engines.
So if anyone has any techniques for making diorama trees/bushes then please fee free to post below. If you could show the techniques with pictures then that would be great too
I've included two of the suggestions off the other thread (hope you don't mind lads?)

\ said:Al, get into the garden or woodland, find some ivy & pull it up ( wear gloves! )Trim the root system, wash the excess dirt off & pop it in the microwave for a minute to kill any bugs.
Then brush with a PVA & water mix & sprinkle with dried herb leaves. I use mixed herbs or oregano. This makes excellent foliage & would work for trees too.
I'll be making one this week so I'll post pics if you like.
Cheers
Patrick

(budlia?) bash the dead brown flowers off, roll them around in some thinned PVA then in a tray of that faux grass stuff.Ian M
