Here is a PDF of how I make the wooden spoked wheels, for my Horse Drawn Vehicle models.

It is NOT the only way to make them, just the way I have developed to make them.

There are other ways of making the wheels, that a lot of experianced modellers happen to do, to make their wheels.

Started making the wheels for my models the same way John Thompson recommends making the wheels, only problem was the amount of timber that was being wasted, so I tried something a bit different and it works.
For anybody interested in this proccess, I would recommend that they buy at least ONE of John Thompson books, on Making Scale Model Horse Drawn Vehicles, to at least get an idea of what is required.

Just click onto the PDF below and all be revealed -----------------------

That is a very useful PDF. I hope to make use of it one day when I scratch build a Model T or pre 1906 car. Thanks!

The spoke shape for a model T wooden spoked wheel, is different to what the spoke shape is in that PDF.

Do a google for the different shapes of a wooden spoke used for different purposes.
A bit of research will soon show you what that difference is.
