Good luck mate... I'm only a little jealous of u having a dedicated craft room... It won't last tho she'll find a "propper" use for it soon and you'll be relegated to the corner like the rest of us!

Yeah it will be nice once sorted, I had a corner of a room before and it was very limited space not so sure as if i could go back to that......well not for sometime

She has asked for a little space to do her models which is fine with me as its a common intrest , ill make sure she has a little set of draws/cupboard to put her work in progress kits in. Then when i would like this space too it will be clear.... Well thats the theory!

You picked the wrong room, you should talk to the missus and explain how cosy a warm that room is tell her you're prepared to take the cold cavernous living room as you're man cave, tell her you would do this as you love her soooo much so don't want her to sit in a cold room, and of course the tv would be so far away in the living room, would be much closer and easier to see in the cosy room

Now i definately would be in the "Dog House" if i did that,but now you've said it the living room sounds perfect haha

Got some supplies from B&Q replacement door and stud battens ready for the next stage, I didn't think this one through though as i bought 4 meaning now ive got to fit all the doors before i can start the painting.

Hi guys well ive been busy sorting the man cave out this is the results, Ill still need to sort move stuff out. Ive got a reasonable amount of storage a 1200wide office cupboard and two decent sized low level filling cabinets and a total of two display cabinets in the cave and two downstairs.


The other half even picked what models was to go in the living room display cabinet so must be doing something right!

Theres plenty of space now both of us can now make models/crafts and have plenty of room The long bench give the room a sense of extra space aswell

Its good really she is fully with me on having a mancave and the stash well she would like to build some of them and she has own micro stash compared
