I'm feel and I'm like a child..... Sorry, I have opened threads all around the forum!!! ;) ;) ;)

The other day in a comic shop....well better could say in a dungeon ;) a dark place, without light and all fully of all kind of japanese items, I found this treseure!!

I ask the shopman for a robot or similar.

"I don't have nothing to paint....it's all builded and finished.... Wait!! Look this!! Do you like it?"

Oh my God! was perfect! of course!!

MazingerZ it's a "thing" of the past, a memory of my 80", for this reason I will do absolutly weathering, rusty and more!!

Poor MazingerZ...will be like it has been abandoned 30 years on a factory or under a secret instalations. ;)

I want to show all the paint job, step by step, if you like it or it's ok?! If it's bored just say it!! ;)

The box (it's all in japanese....the only words in english is: Made in Japan.....) and the sprues.

Thanks for looking guys.

Polux

Hey chaps.

After the primer coat, I do a mix of chipping color, varnish and water.

Now I have a resistant base color!!

MazingerZ has four different colors around his body: blue, white, black and little pieces of red.

I start with the black parts. Mask all the arms and legs. And do a different coats of paint with ruat, yellow, darck sea grey and a black mix with light brown. Between every coat of paint I do a laquer coat too.

I think the result is fantastic after the chipping ! (no photo yet).

Now will do a coat of varnish, and then can start with the next color, I suppose will be the white one....

Thanks

Polux

Just found this via your comment on my iron man, it looks very interesting, can't wait to see the paint effects you create, your builds are always fascinating.

Never heard of this character, makes me think of the Cuban gundam figures I've seen on YouTube tutorials.
