As many of you will know it l have used a lot of PE on Tirpitz, inc large deck sections. So after using VMS cleaner and etch primer, i primed with mr surfacer, perfect

Next i started brush painting a acrylic wood deck colour, pleased until the bl**dy hairs turned up! So tried using a glass fibre pencil to lightly scrub the hairs off ( you probably know what's coming ) it worked BUT of course its exposed the bare and very shiny pe! Have tried 2 more coats of thinned paint but seems the same, a thicker coat would probably cover but fill in the 'planks'.

Has anybody got a idea how to proceed or is it best to leave and not do again.
