Cool...a friend of mine just put together the Panzer III with armored skirting...very cute.

Looking forward to this progress.

Cheers,

Richard, thanks for the tip on the PzIII, cute is the word for these little buggers.

Love them Guy, looking forward to the next update. I must get some.

Steve, this one's already given several shades of green.:smiling2:

Ian, they're fun to do between the more "serious" projects I think.

Thank you Ian and Polux !

The sherman was washed with ultramarine blue + burnt umber mixture.

Thank you Steve, Ian and Monica !
I think I'm slowly getting somewhere as I slapped on a bit of drying mud (pigments, acrylic resin, plaster, water, mixture added to the model with tooth picks), a tadd of dust pigments and subtle metal effects. Next time I'll try to get this baby Sherman done, for example the tracks need more attention, more dry pigments will be applied for extra depth in the model...

Many thank my friends, I'm glad you like it.

I think it's almost done now, just a bit more chipping to do.

Btw you should compare the last two photos I've added, they're both made outside, the first in the afternoon, the last in the evening. The difference is remarkable !

Great work Guy, and there is a big difference in the colours, now you point it out.
