Scale Model Shop

minitnkr's 1/87 Trident 250/9

Thread owner
Thanks guys.
Simon, sharp eye. It's a ROCO MG42 W/O stock so I could fit the crewman into the turret. Apparently it has rolled over a bit while the glue was drying. The original 250/9 had an eight sided turret from the 222 while the 250/9 neu has an improved six sided like the 234.
Chris, this is the model pretty much oob. Much more rubble/paint to be added.

Looking good Paul, I hope the fire damage was intentional. As Scottie says, Mr. Race can be a bit combustive at times.

Nice work Paul. What did you use for the ash effect in your burned out building? It looks very effective. Rick H.

Thanks Rick. Cigar & cigarette ashes saved from my smoking days. It's also what I use to weather my blacktop roads. PaulE

Very nice work on the burnt house Paul, very convincing and I love the use of the ash :thumb2: .

Thanks guys. Also saved field stripped butt tobacco & use it for forest dead fall. The nicotine keeps living things away from the dios where used. No bugs & kept the cats away too. PaulE
