To be honest, Allen, while taking the W.29 picture I was thinking "maybe Allen will appreciate it". Glad I was right! :smiling3:It seems I'm always late to the party Andrea. That looks to be one heck of a show and including so many different aspects of our hobby. Fantastic pictures and many thanks for the one of the Hansa-Brandenburg W.29 floatplane. Sorry to hear you couldn't find the stand with the Friul tracks again though. Thanks again Sir!!!
Prost
Allen
Some interesting buildings there Andrea.:thumb2::thumb2::thumb2:Yes, Peter. I think it's possible if you focus on your main interests and pay just a courtesy visit to the others.
Anyway, a two days visit allows you to enjoy the town too, and Verona is pretty nice.
You certainly were correct my friend. I loved it!!! It's one of my favorite planes and the reason I got into the Wingnut Wings kitsets. Thanks again Andrea!!!...To be honest, Allen, while taking the W.29 picture I was thinking "maybe Allen will appreciate it". Glad I was right! :smiling3:
Thank you, Andrew.
In the past two editions not so many models were "under cover". This years almost all small and medium scale models were under a transparent box and, considering the large number of visitors, many with children and/or dogs, IMO that was the correct decision.
Just as an example of passion driven behaviour the models had to go through, I saw a rather mature man landing a kiss on the 1/32 F104 (see winged things section); he was very delicate, but I guess the modeller felt a cold shiver down his spine!
Unfortunately it was a nightmare for me and all those who wanted to take pictures with non professional cameras/smartphone. In fact I had to work a bit on the pictures published here to correct, as much as I could, the weird effect of a perspex surface between the model and the camera.
