Yes indeed Chris - it gets to us all alas. I did think that driving whilst cold was better than driving under the influence to glue fumes though lol!

I worked in engineering.....once had a female team leader who was brilliant at her job but we wouldnt let her near any tools cos she was a danger to everyone......i was a safe knife use instructer.......3 times i told her not to use a stanley knife like that.....got an earful of abuse then i watched her chop off the tip of her thumb lol......if she picked up a battery driver we would all close our eyes or look the other way and pray!

So you've just finished your best ever P 51 Mustang ---- extra detailing ...... good paint job ...... aftermarket decals ...... subtle weathering ..... and all topped off with a coat of varnish

A couple of days later you notice that the Star 'n' Bar is on top of the wrong wing.

That’s not limited to females. At Porton down I worked with several bright men over the years that would probably try to use the blunt end of a screwdriver if you were dumb enough to give them one to use. My favourite ever story was when I was a youngster there. Our team leader had bought in a pie for his lunch. When he sent my coworker and my self to lunch he asked the coworker to put his pie in the oven to heat up. We had a baby belling cooker in our rest room for heating food (pre microwave days was this), and for those that don’t know, they have two rings, and a grill/oven. There are three knobs, one either side for the rings, and one in the middle for the grill/oven which you turn one way or the other to activate the function you want. Not complicated…..
Anyway, half an hour later team leader walks in, opens the oven to take out his well earned hot lunch, and finds a raw pie with a literally burning crust on it. It was well alight. Coworker had only gone and put it under the grill for half an hour……John would’ve been proud :upside:

CA is made to hamper the average modeller, stuck many a part to my finger rather than on the intended place, also attached many parts to tweezers. The funniest was looking allover for a piece of pe, then found it later when I took a pullover off.
Split a full bottle of tet and of course ruined the mat, a new one . Now keep the tet in a old coffee jar lid, stuck down !
This modelling lark is such fun !
