Hi Tony,
mainly aircraft, 1:48 normally but recently some 1:32. Have been known to build a vehicle or boat/ship, but aircraft mainly. Have done a couple of Tamiya Spitfires, in 1:48 and 1:32, one of my favourite aircraft. Currently on Italeri's 1:32 Tornado.

Hi Alun, I will search your projects , I be asking my sister too send me a pic of a 24th scale spitfire I built from an Airfix kit when I was a teenager , have a lot of planes to shoose from now, I had a 48th scale B17 and my pride and joy was a 32 scale B52 she was huge every think worked . I picked up issue 24 parts the two struts for the port wing , next weeks part will be the starboard wing frame, sadly fortnightly now .Tony

It have being nearly 8 weeks since I last posted any pics thanks to Chris letting everyone know why , don't ever want to go through that ever again so ill have to take it easy for some time, I started work on clearing the backlog of 10 mags of parts was a big marathon indeed,, back to fortnightly mags.

Next lot of parts be to with the oil intake filters put together the air intake filters, the landing gear was a big challenge, two sets of springs making sure I didn't lose them I can't wait to fit the geared motors to the landing gear will keep the landing gear in place.

.Soon I be able to screw the nose and cockpit in place next after that be the main circuit box to fit behind the cockpit, can't wait, hopefully finish the model expensive exercise.

I may have to use some white glue to glue the wheel covers in place keeps coming off, nothing said about gluing them in

Hi Chris, thanks, will have to make a stronger cradle for the spitfire to sit in while adding wiring and gun plastic tubing., you will see in the fist pic the cardboard cradle isn't much chop . Tony

Looking good :thumb2:
Try painting the cardboard with a PVA water mix - it'll strengthen it up no end when dry
