discussion Modelzone in WH Smiths

Hi all,

Having read about the opening of a few selected Modelzone outlets in of Smiths, I thought I'd check out the one in Westfields, White City.

The kit brands on offer are Airfix, Tamiya, Revell & Italeri..

.. and that's it! But the range isn't bad for aircraft, although armour kits numbered less than 20 across all scales

Prices aren't bad, a Tamiya 1/48 P-51D 8th Air Force was £19.99 & the new tooling 1/72 Airfix Ju-88 was £10.99.

All paints etc are from Humbrol, with both acrylic & enamel tinlets at £1.49 which isn't bad.

Worth a look if you're in the area

My local Smiths (Southend) doesn't have a Modelzone section.Probably because the only shops (2) selling models in the town are close by.

We could do with a decent model shop in Yeovil, I won't venture in to town to check out Smiths...its full of weird people...
