Again wise words Ron , custom cut perspex is an area I`m now going to look into and if you say its not that much more expensive than getting 6mm glass cut then its a better safety option,I`m 42 now but when I left school I was a window fitter for 8 yrs and have seen 1st hand what broken glass can do to a human being , saying that I`ve never been affraid of glass myself as long as you treat it with respect, but I take all your points on board especially as I have 2 little boys.

Thankyou

Richy.
hi richy, you saying youve got two small boys ,puts a different slant on things, i tend to forget how dangerous things can be cause my sons 21 , so ive got to agree with ron, in this case. The picture glass would make a reasonable display case but only if it was out of the way and not moved much,so perspex would be a much better and safer bet. cheers tony

No worries Richy, it sounded good at the time & safety is always something to put first! If anyone finds a good place for the perspex, why not put it up in a seperate thread & maybe we can negotiate a cheaper rate for the site as a whole? Just a thought-worth putting our collective efforts to saving us all money. Patrick

Seems we hopefully have this sorted....Sorry about your fiver Patrick, but far better than severing your jaguar vein ( as my grandson calls it!)

Isn't this one grand site when everyone has a say and all to the common good?

O.K., men off to the next assignment!!!

"Dont you love it when a plan comes right?".....The 'A Team' 19 canteen.

Cheers,

Ron
