Building a Morris Recce in desert colours

Question is what colour to paint the underside?

Did these things leave the factory in a standard green colour, then sprayed up locally.

Can't imagine too many people bothered repainting the underside

Any help would be appreciated

Speaking from real life experiences everything that could be seen would of been painted I doubt anyone would of crawled underneath to paint over the base colour
