That is an amazing story. There is no doubt that war drives innovation. Such a feat, such a huge undertaking.
 
I have no interest in ships/submarines but I love a good engineering story where clever men solve unusual problems so this video was an interesting watch, thanks for sharing John.

Glad you found it interesting, like wise Andy I'm not really a floaty , but the effort that was put into this was beyond belief.Think after all that they either scuttled them or were knocked out .

A most interesting video. A boring voice but the info was interesting.
Didn't have the sound on Ian, mostly watch these videos with subtitles as the sounds it so variable in quality.
