I am in the process of doing a couple of diorama's, farm yard then a rubble scene and a dug in position with a priest with a ammo re-supply.

This is because i want to build up to a monster diorama. Which will consist of a 88 and trench system covering a bridge. In the river will be a sherman (verlinden) hit out and half sunk with an Us advance to the next tow.

These are the vehicles ive got alreadt for the dio:-

3x shermans

3x willy's jeeps

1x m3 half track

1x m2 half track

I've also got Us troops escorting Pow's plus german casualties on a horse and cart, detailing sets for the vehicles and verlinden figures for all of the above

Wow, that sounds real good, i bet it will take a while and you'll need a big bed to slide it under when you are done lol

Cant wait to see some pics

Hi Nige

That sounds like one helluva diorama. I'm assuming that's in 1/35 - that's gonna be one big mutha!!! Sounds excellent, I think you probably have many months (maybe even years!) ahead of you on that project but it will certainly be impressive when complete.

Best of luck with it mate

Cheers

Nige sounds great, but word of caution unless you have the space to display your huge dio don`t do it mate , trust me I was half way through a large Ardennes dio only about 1.5 ft by 1.5ft but then thought once built what the hell am I gonna do with it , a great dio only needs one may two focal points at the most , Nige your barn and outhouse look the dogs b`s mate work a dio around that mate don`t make things complicated

"Massive dio"....you're not joking. It sounds like a great project. Keep us posted, I expect we'll be entertained for a while.

Cheers
