discussion Need help finding aircraft in 1/96 scale!

As per the title, I may be needing to find some WWII and Post-WWII aircraft in 1/96 scale.....

I have been offered a 1/96 HMS Victorious and or a 1/96 HMS Hood. So I am looking at my possibilities. One thing that I rather like is that some of the last flights on Victorious where Sea Vixens and Buccaneers.....

Thinking 1/100 might work to but not being my preferred scale, no nothing of their existence!

Any Ideas?

I think this is about the best you're going to get given the scale. short of scratchbuilding.

Hi ian, if i recall correctly, i think there was a buccaneer in 1/100 ages ago, maybe reissued by revell at some point, i would keep scanning e-bay if i were you.As for a similar scale sea vixen, i dont think youll have any luck. hope this helps, cheers tony

Thanks guys, WWII are actually well covered in 1/96, its the cols war stuff that's proving a challenge.

I will keep an eye open. IF I do it I might just do the Victorious in WWII era.

Ian , it was tamiya who did a 1/100 buccaneer, keep a look out on e-bay! cheers tony
