I ran a Mig-21 GB on this forum many years ago, maybe need another.

If you look at the chat thread, I have comments in there! I am still 'building' that Mig-21 too! I'll add a pic tomorrow, but life interrupted that build at the time - I may go ahead and finish it after this one is complete. TBH, it is probably 3/4 complete now so I do not have a good excuse.

Well that has come together really well. There's a lot plastic. Shame about the wheel well doors.

No no, the one that isn't painted is the GB. The half-complete one is my 2016 Mig-21 GB :) The unpainted one with masking tape is the GB.

Next task is to sort out the brass rod for in-flight.

Some more progress - I've been busy trying to change job recently, so a little distracted.

I've sorted out the in-flight part

No progress for 2 weeks - job distractions, as I have resigned from one and am looking for a new one (interviews in progress). I know resigning first is bad, but carrying on was bad for my mental health - or was getting there- when you get a couple of hours' sleep due to worrying about everything, it is not healthy.

Back to few bits and bobs. I have filled some gaps - Eduard and their 'only display landed' theory. Damn them.

Anyway, added some of the extra fins, got the pilot added - he needed a bit of sanding on the chair sides to fit in the gap, but fits a treat now. Next stage will be to seal up the cockpit and then paint, a few weekends yet. The canopy was just added at the end to show it, it's not glued in yet.

A bit off topic, but how are you getting on with your job hunt Neil? Personal welfare is more important than hobbies, but having said that hoping to see your MiG when you get back.
