Looks to be an interesting museum that has opened in Jordan, if you can get to it. At the very least it offers some interesting new diorama opportunities for modern vehicle modellers.

I have read that ships can be sunk to form the basis of reefs and at first I thought this was something similar. Sounds a mad idea to me but maybe it will attract tourists.

Confusing!
it's supposed to be what? A diving attraction,underwater museum or artificial reef? Doesn't work for me.look after the reefs.Put the museum pieces in a museum and repair the damage by artificial reefs by all means.Divers, on the whole , don't want this sort of stuff and any one being introduced to diving will be turned on by the natural beauty of what's already there.

I agree its a bit of a strange idea, and calling it a museum is properly a stretch, reading more about the location of it it seems it is also positioned to help the reefs grow as well as provide some alternatives for things for people to look at.

Thinking more about it It possibly also provides a safer environment for people learning to dive to make sure they don't damage coral reefs. Where I learned to dive we went to a batter coral arch to learn about judging the size of gaps underwater and making sure that we didn't bash coral with trailing equipment or our tanks. This would give the same opportunity at less risk to the coral reef.

back on modelling - it would make for an interesting diorama of a 1/35 ferret with a diver coming out of it...
